With 8 boys (cause we wanted a girl) and a background in fashion design with my love and best friend Alma, His background; custom wood finishing and sales and design in Lighting. With a passion for anything that could help us feed and clothe those growing boys, and give them room to grow. In 2014 Came about the creation of Luxur Metals custom lighting. A mother of 8
owned business.

Our Dream is to handcraft affordable luxury quality lighting that makes your dreams a reality. Alma had been designing and purchasing custom lighting from several vendors over the years and wanted to just build them himself. Only thing is, he didn't have the time. The exclusive fabricator he thought he had in place ended up only helping his competitors. So he came home with a Wonderful idea.


He would design and sell the sconces and Vonny and the boys can build them! Well like all other moms with 8 boys, actually all the moms with any boys, I ended up doing the work late at night with Alma after everyone was tucked away in bed. Except for the occasional help from a couple of them, we were on our own to get the orders out on time and looking
amazing.

With the support of the local contractors and interior designers, we started making custom lighting out of our rented, pack rat, rattlesnake-infested shop for the first year. We moved from what we affectionately called the farm soon after I found a skunk in my sewing machine in my bedroom on the morning of my birthday. Naturally thinking that Dad and sons had pranked me. But quietly helping them shoo it out the door.

After setting roots down in Southern Utah's Mother town Parowan with our 37 alpacas and the boys. We found a nice building to rent, and continue to produce some of the finest customs metal sconces found anywhere in America.

Now Vonny runs the books and Jessika runs the production line, (with a little help from the boys occasionally). Alma sells and designs, while my favorite niece, Jessika produces every fixture by hand with only the finest metals. the most sustainable /recyclable materials we can find and environmentally friendly finishes available. We thank all who have put our beautiful lights on their most expensive possessions. And are pleased to know that every light we make may be the guiding light that brings you home and makes you feel loved each time you come and go.
